🔚 I always read the last sentence of a book before I start it. No idea why. It’s like a teaser trailer. I know it’s wrong. I do it anyway. 🪑 My ideal reading position? Lying in bed with my legs up against the wall, body forming a perfect 90° angle. But here's the thing: I only do this when the book deserves it. If I’m not inspired? No 90° privilege. And when things get intense, I’ll sit cross-legged so I can cover the pages with my hand — because sometimes, I need to emotionally prepare for what’s coming. 😅 🧠💬 If I misread a character’s name early on… that’s it. Game over. I will forever read it that way — even after I learn the correct pronunciation. Especially if it’s in English but written in Greek — my brain locks onto that version and refuses to update. Tell me I’m not the only one 😬 What’s your weirdest reading habit?

Galatea by Madeline Miller is a short but powerful read. I really liked how it flips the classic myth of Pygmalion and gives Galatea a voice of her own. 💬✨ As a woman, I found parts of it deeply uncomfortable — but in a way that felt intentional and thought-provoking. The idea of shaping the “perfect woman” isn’t just a myth from the past. It’s something that, in different ways, still echoes today. ⛓️ It’s a beautifully written, bold, and timeless retelling that invites reflection and challenges the original narrative. Definitely worth the read. 📖🔥

Started off super intriguing, but honestly... it lost me. The idea? Cool. Rocky? Adorable and the best character by far. But the science? Way. Too. Much. 😵 Equations, physics, chemical stuff I didn’t need spelled out for pages. It felt more like the author wanted to flex his genius than tell a story. The main character knows everything, Rocky knows everything, and it just felt super unrealistic and tiring after a point. Flashbacks? Meh. I'd rather see what’s going on back on Earth 🌍 instead of reading how they built the ship for the 5th time. There’s a tiny bit of character growth, sure... but overall, this was a chore to finish.

Would love to know if you listen to music or ambience while reading? If so, what playlist/songs on what platform? 🎶🫶🏻 I’ve been listening to Legends of Fantasia on YouTube. Great music and visuals. 😋 Thank you and have a lovely day/night! 💜

Only 3 chapters in and I’ve already accepted that I’m not smart enough for space science 😂 Super into it so far, though! Grateful for brilliant minds—meanwhile, my peak space achievement was making a comet out of a cotton ball in elementary school.
