I'm currently reading three books at once (one is for a book club), and I was wondering: Do you like reading just one book at a time or you'd rather pick more titles and read them simultaneously?

🔚 I always read the last sentence of a book before I start it. No idea why. It’s like a teaser trailer. I know it’s wrong. I do it anyway. 🪑 My ideal reading position? Lying in bed with my legs up against the wall, body forming a perfect 90° angle. But here's the thing: I only do this when the book deserves it. If I’m not inspired? No 90° privilege. And when things get intense, I’ll sit cross-legged so I can cover the pages with my hand — because sometimes, I need to emotionally prepare for what’s coming. 😅 🧠💬 If I misread a character’s name early on… that’s it. Game over. I will forever read it that way — even after I learn the correct pronunciation. Especially if it’s in English but written in Greek — my brain locks onto that version and refuses to update. Tell me I’m not the only one 😬 What’s your weirdest reading habit?

Are there any books you started but never really got the chance to finish? Mine is The Pivot Year by Brianna Wiest. It's not that I couldn’t get back to it. I just realized that books structured with a page for each day aren't really for me. I still plan to finish it though.

I try to read for about 2 hours a day — one hour for each of the two books I’m currently reading. 🕐📖🕐📖 Lately though, I haven’t been reading at all because I’m in the middle of moving to a new place and things are hectic! 📦🏠 But I have high hopes for the rest of the summer — I’ll be by the sea 🌊 and I’m pretty sure I’ll be spending every quiet afternoon with a book (or two!) in hand. 😎🧃📚 How about you? How many hours a day do you usually read — and do you set a goal or just go with the flow? 💬✨

Are y'all updating your ratings and/or reviews after doing a reread? Why or why not? Also: I swear there was already a discussion on here about this so I'm sorry to be redundant, but try as I might I just can't find it ☹️ if y'all have a link I'd love to look at the answers there too!

Curious to hear… how do you all sort your physical bookshelves? I used to swear I’d only ever do author last name but as I’ve gotten into reading and collecting more, I now have them in their genres with my favourites more visible and the rest are sorted by “vibes” (like dragons, witches, werewolves etc) and then alphabetically by author. (YA gets sorted into the relevant genres like fantasy YA goes with fantasy instead of separating YA out.) My only hard rule is an author’s books can’t be separated even if they write different genres. An authors books must stay together. The size differences annoy me too so sometimes I separate within the vibes the hardcovers and paperbacks and then do them alphabetically in those sections. Right now, I’m squeezing stuff in where it can fit so it’s not perfectly organized by vibes but we’ll see what happens as I get more space! (I know sharing images on here is a lot of work but if you are up to it, shelfies welcome!)
