I’m just curious….
Do you annotate or mark-up your books? Why or why not? How do you annotate them?
Personally, I mostly annotate books for school or non-fiction books. I don’t typically write in the margins, rather I highlight sentences that I like and are meaningful. For school, I look at tone, syntax, juxtaposition, metaphors, and character portrayals.

I’m curious - if you read ARCs and post in the forums are you mentioning in the title each time that it’s an ARC? I hadn’t really thought about it before today, but since posts don’t have time stamps, there’s not really a way to tell that someone may have posted about an ARC that’s since had changes made before actually being published.
I have had a couple ARCs since joining PB and haven’t made a point to make it a note before now, but curious if anyone else does! What are your thoughts - should ARC readers have it in the title or first post line each time it’s an ARC copy or do you think it makes no difference?

Growing up, I would read spoilers, because I didn't like the suspense of not knowing. It also helped me spot character development, foreshadowing, and the basic pieces of how the story is shaped. But as an adult, I try not to read spoilers! I like to figure it out for myself. What about you all? How do you guys read? :)

Do you guys only do a physical book or e reader or both? i used to be against e readers until i got one and love it. i still love physical books but noticed i read slower when reading a physical one, its like my brain got rewired.

"Seung is incredibly observant. [...] As time passes, I find Seung seems to know what I want to say almost before I do. As if he can always sense exactly how I'm feeling."
Oh, how I love how it feels when you find someone who sees you like that.

Not sure if anyone else is following C G Drews on Patreon but there’s a new little bonus crossover from Laurie’s POV of some of his time at Wickwood Academy! I’m reading it now and it’s soooooo good.
