Anyone a fan of Cruel Intentions? Any books youâd recommend that fit that vibe?

So...how do I say this? I've been watching The Pitt recently, and I realized I am INTO it, like really into it. I think it's my current fixation tbh. That led me to wonder: does anyone have any books that give "the pitt" vibes? It doesn't have to be medical/medical-related books. For example, I started reading "A Magical Girl Retires", and I was thinking "Robby should read this book" (yeah, it's that bad lol) due to its story dealing with a burnt out, near the end of her rope protagonist who is just looking for a way out, and she's struggling with grief. So yeah, any books that give the vibes of the different characters, maybe or plot points. Thanks!!!

There's officially something wrong with me. I have 6 books on the go and I can't get into any of them. I never read more than 2 books at once and usually I'm a 1 book girl. I think it's me because the books are probably good, I'm just unfocused and listless.
I've got my first book club meeting tomorrow. How am I supposed to participate if I have reader's block đŹ

I DNFed this book because even if the story is interesting the way in witch is written is confusing. It's similar to when you start something and then you abandon it for a while and when you return to finish it you don't look at the progress you made first. Every chapert finish in a way that the start of the next chapert doesn't replicate. Example she enter the house alone at the end of a chapter but in the next chapter she's with someone. I don't understand if I'm not understanding the chaperts or if it really is how I read it.

While I was browsing the top light novels list on Amazon earlier, I noticed a few giving off AI vibes. Iâve also noticed some AI books here as well, so I was wondering if anyone has. Iâll see a book thatâs obviously AI, check out the author, and usually they have like 10 books all written and published in 2025.
I guess my question is, has anyone read an AI book to find out later it was AI? And if you could tell it was? I donât have any interest in checking it out, but I always wonder if I might have accidentally read one already seeing as theyâve infiltrated so many genres and spaces.
