Is it just me or was this book incredibly hard to get into until he went to the academy? I'm thoroughly enjoying myself now, but MAN was i struggling to read more than 30 pages at a time đ

Really donât like whoever is voicing the MC here. He sounds like an AI response to the prompt âplease speak in the voice of a patronising English toff who has had a few too many sherrysâ. Deeply odd.

i tend to hover around 10-13 books in my âreadingâ category. and yes i am actively reading them! i have a core group of 6ish physical books that get worked through slowly, and then the rest are audio books of various lengths. i watch tv shows like this too, having 6 or 7 shows in my currently watching plus a handful of movies.
what is your âreadingâ category like? do you power through a book start to finish or dip your toe across genres?
