I am invested ln the characters but I’m not sure that’s enough to get me through six more books. At times it dragged a lot, and it was hard to understand why the plot was going the way it was…

I truly enjoyed the characters because sometimes I loved them and sometimes I hated them, and because they were all that drove the story. The writing took a little to get into, more than with other Schwab books (i felt), but then it really supports the story. Plot however? I couldn‘t really find it…

i managed to get past the point where I abandoned it last time. rn it's very interesting i don't know why i abandoned it a couple of years ago. it's strange for me reading the book after watching the movie, usually, i do the other way around so knowing more or less what's happening it's new.

I truly loved the first book and devoured the second one too but it felt like a super convoluted way to get to the end, and until the middle of the book I did not know who was who (there‘s too many people anyway). I love the writing style but it can sometimes be a little emotionally alienating(?) Still, I‘m looking forward to the rest of the series.
