Wow ok, where to start. Let's start with the many positives. I absolutely love the imagery of this story. The way the gore scenes and world building is described really paints the picture in my head, almost like I'm seeing it in a movie. I enjoy the knowledge aspect of this story with the many philosophers and theories that are woven throughout. Lots of new terminology to learn. I love the plot, along with the learning aspect. Now the negative, its kind of confusing, I have to annotate a lot in order to just keep things clear in my brain. I am also trying to understand why knowledge and a prestigious degree are put above all else in the characters minds. There is so much more to life than being a genius and dedicating your entire self to learning. It comes off as snobby and prideful. That's really all I've got for now. Let me know your thoughts or if you know of any reading guides to help with the confusion some!

My favorite Freida book to date. I love Debbie, she's a bad ass FMC. She does some unhinged things, but wouldn't any mother do what needs to be done for her children?

This was an average 3 star for me. I liked the flow of the book, I liked some of the spice. I did not like the non dub con kink. I thought it was interesting learning the qualities of a diagnosed pyschopath.

This was a twisty but semi predictable one. I hated Monica and Abby, but I think that was the authors intention. Its a memorable thriller, but not an outstanding one. Great for a quick read.

Horror is a genre that I struggle with as far as enjoying it and being genuinely freaked out or scared. This book had some elements in the first 2 stories that made me feel an unsettling feeling, but it didn't scare me. It didn't make me want to turn on the lights or crawl under the covers and hide. It didn't give me moments of " omg that was scary af". It was also short geriatric horror stories. Just not a fan.

This is a cute cozy murder mystery with woodland creatures as characters; there are no humans. I thought it was a very creative story. It wasn't predictable, it even had a couple plot twists. It was short and sweet and unputdownable. I will continue this series.

This was a tough one to get through. It had moments of DV that made me have to put the book down and cry. If a book can give me the visceral emotions that this one did, then its 5 stars. I was rooting for our FMC & MMC the entire time. This was a thoughtfully written, carefully crafted story of a women being abused by her husband in more ways than one. The author was able to tell the story without romanticizing it which I greatly appreciated. I will continue the series.

This is a 5 star thriller for me, which is hard to come by! The plot has stuck with me over the last 6 months. This was fast paced, gripping, sad and dark. It was unpredictable and the writing just kept making me want to not put the book down.

This book was very unique. It was a survival thriller with a tv reality tv show trope. The ending had a lot more tense moments, but that tension built up through out the book. I didn't know who to trust. It left a unsettling feeling, which I think is what it set out to do.

This is a cute small town contemporary romance. I really enjoyed the romance between the 2 main characters, it felt very believable. The spice was sweet and not too over done. Quick and easy read. Definitely continuing the series.
