While I flew through the Kamogawa Food Detectives, this one took me a bit longer to read. Additionally, before finishing this book, no book has moved me to shed a few tears. But this book definitely broke the record.
And I wasn't thinking that it was. I mean yeah there were a few parts that were sad but that last chapter, woo that last chapter, definitely broke me. Not in a bad way, per say, more like in a bittersweet way. I am definitely looking forward to the other book!

It very interesting to compare and contrast Anneâs writing style with Charlotteâs. Itâs been a moment sine I have read Wuthering Heights but as a #1 Jane Eyre enjoyer the difference was stark from the first paragraph. Itâs almost like Anne is using a stream of consciousness way of writing.
