✨ Quick Summary (no spoilers): Delaney and her daughter move back in with her parents to the small town where she had her first love. After keeping a low profile for as long as possible, because she has a very big secret, she eventually runs in to Bennett, her first love. The sparks are still there and no matter how hard they try and stay out of each others orbit they keep finding their way back to each other.

❤️ What I Loved: I loved the growth and confidence that Delaney gained throughout the book. I loved the dual POV because knowing Bennett’s side of the story was also great and added depth to the story. I also loved all the side characters and belonging Delaney got throughout the book. It’s so hard making friends and finding your people as an adult. 📖 Overall Thoughts: I would recommend this book to anyone who loves second chance romance, small towns, found family, and a little open door spice.

✨ Quick Summary (no spoilers): This is a heartwarming small-town, second chance romance. Blaire thought she escaped the small town life and headed for the big city. Little did she know her world was going to flip upside down and she would need some respite in her hometown. Adding to her chaos is her neighbor, Colt, who also happens to be the town's #1 bachelor and the boy that broke her heart.

❤️ What I Loved: • I loved the self discovery Blaire embarks during this phase in her life. She definitely embraces her independence, intellect, and sense of purpose. All while rediscovering what it is to love yourself as well as fall in love with someone else. 🤔 What Didn’t Work for Me: • It was a bit of a slowburn despite knowing what was bound to happen. I still enjoyed the whole book, though. It was wholesome and fun to read.

📖 Overall Thoughts: I would recommend this book to my fellow contemporary romance readers. It was fun, the FMC found herself, let down walls, became vulnerable, but also stood up to the villains. I loved the small town feel. The sense of family. The spice was also well written.

Title & Author: All The Way Under by Rachel Robinson Genre: Contemporary Romance Rating: ⭐️

✨ Quick Summary (no spoilers): An adventure romance filled with a broody Navy SEAL MMC, a witty tech genius FMC, pirates, and deceit.

❤️ What I Loved: • I loved the adventure. Saylor (FMC) was witty, snarky, and oh so smart. She was also very aware of her feelings and how to put on a mask depending on the situation she is in. Brody was a big broody man. He was the big protector and felt undeserving of love. Brody and Saylor complimented each other really well and their chemistry was off the charts. 🤔 What Didn’t Work for Me: • The pacing was a bit off. I lost interest from the like 60%-85% point in the book. I am glad I finished it. The ending was done really well!

📖 Overall Thoughts: I genuinely enjoyed this book. The adventure and danger was great. The plot twists kept me turning the page. And the romance was romancing!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love Piper Raynes writing. Their books are always so funny. In Chasing Forever you get to wake up with the same shame and confusion as the main characters. Can you imagine waking up, married, to your ex-finances brother??? I loved the chaotic intro. I love how the story progressed even more. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cowboy/sheriff romance. Definitely check the TWs because there are some sensitive topics addressed. I did not check the TWs and was in tears but that’s my fault I also received this as an ARC from Piper Rayne & Hambright PR.

Ship Happens is the 3rd installment in Lauren Biel’s slaycation series. These books can be read as standalones but I definitely do not recommend that. At all. Definitely check your TWs because this series definitely has darker themes and spice. That being said these books are so funny and I highly recommend. I loved the first two and Ship Happens definitely did not disappoint! I was so excited to hear about Maverick and Frankie. The cruise ship aspect was a fun twist. Their docked excursions were super exciting and added some adventure. I really enjoyed the depth Lauren added to the characters finding themselves and working past their own traumas. Lauren came back and delivered more spice, humor, and gruesome themes and I cannot wait for book 4!
