This is actually my first time reading this graphic novel and I loved it! Love me a bit of darkling but truly it fits his character so well! It was clear what was gonna happen but it just encapsulates how he feels about other people using him and explain his mistrust of others. Also how all he ever wanted was a safe heaven for grisha, my heart actually breaks for aleksander, heās such a complex character.
The artwork is gorgeous too, I love love loved the color palette!

Itās actually a 3.5 because the narrator annoyed me and that impacted my experience but I really enjoyed it! Well, just like half the planet, Iām here after watching heated rivalry and wanting to know more ahaha Safe to say I did really enjoy this book, it was soo nice to get Scott and Kipās POV and really be inside their heads and realise what they were going through as in the show you only get that episode (as great as that was). I like their dynamic sooo much, I love how their journey happened, all the ups and downs were balanced really well and the way it ends is just the cherry on top!
