I read this book in one sitting because I could not get enough of this, so let's dive in: - The atmosphere of the book is amazing, it will give you all the cozy town/fall vibes you are probably craving this time of the year! - These protagonists are soo good! Truly the grumpy x sunshine trope done to its best. Gus is honestly the man of my dreams and the way his love language is acts of service >>>> I also loved Wren and how she tackled the task of getting Gus on board with her plan AKA annoy him into saying yes. - I hope hope hope the author writes more novels in this world focusing on the other characters because I truly loved their stories too. - I felt like the way Gus's autism was incorporated/explained in this book was brilliant and I learned a lot about it - this coming from someone with no prior knowledge/ firsthand contact with the disorder itself. Overall this kept me reading non stop and I really enjoyed it, highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a good book to get into the Fall mood!

I really enjoyed that, especially the last part! At first it was a bit harder getting into this book but then it makes total sense! The build up is great for the big finale and oh how big it was! I didn't expect the paranormal twist (that's on me 'cause I never see anything about the books before going in) so that made it even better! The atmosphere of the lake was one of my favourite parts of the book, the setting really adds a lot to the story!
