Chapter 1: I must have reread it multiple times due to Basil referring to Lord Henry as Harry. I now know Harry is a common nickname for Henry back then but it sure got me confused. Chapter 2: They sure don't do small talk.. a philosophical long page replay Harry? Drink your tea in silence will you (But also enjoying the Wilde's written style.. I feel like I'm back at uni)

How does everyone else feel about horror in anthology format like this? I find I'm kinda split. Like I enjoy the variety of stories we get to see, and I really love the whole museum exhibit theme used to tie them all together, but sometimes I also really struggle to really get invested and immersed in the stories since they are so short.

This was such a fun little romance read. I love a good why choose and this one ticked all the boxes for me. There was a bit of miscommunication at the end, which I do find annoying, but I understand why it was used for the plot. I really liked all the characters, and I'll definitely be reading this one again

I am genuinely shocked at how much I loved this book and how quickly I devoured it. I'd definitely classify it more as a dark fantasy than a romance (though there is a bit of spice!) The world is bleak but also so opulent and decadent. This is the first vampire book I've read in a while that genuinely captures the horror and grotesque nature of vampires. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who's even thinking of giving it a shot.

Ok so I totally understand why people like this book. However, I got so confused and it was such a slog to try and get through all theses disjointed and seemingly unrelated tangents to get to the main plot that it just made me frustrated. Definitely not for me
