It definitely gave me a jump scare with how blatant he was when he said they were fucking.

Overall, definitely not sure how I feel about the love interest. Seems kind of a dick but you know probably have some sort of sad bad story. The vibes I'm getting from how hes treating the maid that seems kind of weird.

He's supposed to be kind of an older man isn't he? And she's like what? 18. It's kind of weird. Not illegal but like, does have me raising my brow at him

Also I am going back and forth about whether or not I like her. She seemed really cool but also kind of 'not like other girls' trope.

Thoughts from 1% Audiobook Narrator

I have no love for transphobe Rowling, but the narrator of my audiobook is Jim Dale, also the narrator for the HP audiobooks. He was such a good voice actor in those, so now I’m even more excited for this book! His voice alone just gives the words a whimsical feeling.
