Feeling very sentimental about pagebound with the recent post about when people joined but Iâm also thinking about the books I wouldâve never known about if not for joining here.
Notably, The Six Deaths of the Saint by Alix E Harrow (and eventually the Everlasting); I probably wouldnât have ever known about this book if not for the PB yoink train and general chat while reading it awhile ago and I absolutely love it. Itâs so amazing to have a community where things like this can and do happen on the regular đ„°
So, curious what books others have found (and hopefully loved) through PB?

heyy so, for people who already read it (no spoilers please, i just barely started it!) would you say that i need pen and paper to note down interesting details to try and solve the mystery myself, or you fell that the âcluesâ are very well put down that i could rely only on my brain and memory? iâd say i have a good memory but i kinda struggle to remember whoâs who at the start of books! sorry if this wasnt the right space for this question :)
edit: taking notes was very fun!!

Hola Bookaholics!!
Here is your question today:
Do you crack the spines of your books?
(Personally, I do, but I have limited hand dexterity so it helps me read easier âșïž)

Whenever I start a new book before I begin reading I like to turn to the very last page and read the last sentence. I don't know why I do it. I started when I was a kid and never really stopped. Since the very last sentence is typically completely devoid of context it usually doesn't spoil anything (though that has been an issue a few times) and I soon forget about what it said. I've mentioned this to a few people before and mostly get horrified responses lol. Does anyone else have any strange reading habits?

i liked the first book but this one got me feeling like i was just losing my time. i thought the issue was that im not into fantasy anymore now that ive grown up but turns out it was just this book.

Do you like to have bookish items/merch/STUFF? đ
I do find myself gravitating towards bookish themed things, but try to watch my consumption unless itâs things I either: a) really want b) need and will use
If you have bookish stuff, whatâs your favorite? Do you collect a certain thing like bookmarks or bookish stickers?
Right now mine is this bag! My wife got it for me this weekend while in the city, and itâs perfect for carrying my normal odds and ends, plus a book and my e-reader!
