Brayden Cross thought he had left his dangerous past behind. But when tragedy strikes at the heart of his family, he's thrust into a life-or-death pursuit of both justice and revenge. Following a mysterious trail of murders and disappearances across New England, Brayden finds clues that point to EverChat-an impressive but polarizing app that lets users communicate with digital versions of their departed loved ones. As he inches closer and closer to the truth, it becomes clear that his enemy is much more than a killer. Behind the sleek veneer of groundbreaking innovation, a devastating plot is brewing that puts the future of humanity at stake. Racing against the clock and hunted at every turn, Brayden must dismantle the operation before it reaches its endgame. But in a world where the line between humanity and technology blurs, how can he defeat an adversary that is always two steps ahead? A pulse-pounding science fiction thriller that explores the dark intersection of technology and consciousness, Forever After paints a chilling story of love, loss, revenge, sacrifice, and what it truly means to be human in an increasingly artificial world.

All Ren wants is to see another sunrise, but when you grow up with people cursing your very existence, that’s easier said than done. As someone touched by the gods, she keeps far from the cities and the dangers they pose, preferring to keep to the endless and isolating sands of the Jahaer Desert. She’s managed to keep the marks that identify her as a daemon out of sight for this long, but when her camp is raided, and her allies have fled, there’s nowhere left to hide.Captured and taken to the heartless city of Denheir, Ren has only one goal—survival. She’s never embraced her gift of sight, but now she might not have a choice. Face to face with the most notorious man on the Continent and his desire for the power coursing through her veins, Ren must submit to the fate the gods have dealt her or fight. Good thing she’s never been one to yield. With new threats at her back and old ones plaguing her dreams, Ren is thrust into a journey of self, survival, and new alliances as she tries to escape a life she never asked for. The future is murky, and though she’s spent her whole life running from her gift, she just might realize that true power is as inevitable as the gods themselves.

    A Step Past Darkness

SIX CLASSMATES. ONE TERRIFYING NIGHT. A MURDER TWENTY YEARS IN THE MAKING… There’s something sinister under the surface of the idyllic, suburban town of Wesley Falls, and it’s not just the abandoned coal mine that lies beneath it. The summer of 1995 kicks off with a party in the mine where six high school students witness a horrifying crime that changes the course of their lives. The six couldn’t be more different. • Maddy, a devout member of the local megachurch • Kelly, the bookworm next door • James, a cynical burnout • Casey, a loveable football player • Padma, the shy straight-A student • Jia, who’s starting to see visions she can’t explain When they realize that they can’t trust anyone but each other, they begin to investigate what happened on their own. As tensions escalate in town to a breaking point, the six make a vow of silence, bury all their evidence, and promise to never contact each other again. Their plan works – almost. Twenty years later, Jia calls them all back to Wesley Falls—Maddy has been murdered, and they are the only ones who can uncover why. But to end things, they have to return to the mine one last time.

Write Better Newsletters: Grow your 1:1 practice with emails people actually want to read

    Camille Freeman

You've been told that newsletters can help to find clients, but that's only true if the right people read and find value in your newsletter. If you're in business doing 1:1 work with clients, you likely don't have time to write long essays every week, and you don't want to write a newsletter that's generic, awkward, or pushy. Fame isn’t your focus. You simply want to work with more clients. This book is designed to help you do just that. You'll learn a step-by-step process to help you design, write, and send a newsletter that feels like you and that your readers enjoy receiving. You won’t be working from a boring template, and you won’t be spending hours trying to sound like someone you’re not. Instead, you'll learn how to regularly write and send newsletters that matter to you, your business, and your readers. Topics Covered Picking your newsletter frequency Selecting a style and sections for your newsletter Creating templates to speed up the writing and sending processes Finding subscribers and inviting readers to work with you This book is appropriate for nutritionists, herbalists, coaches, counselors, and anyone else who's hoping to write a newsletter that brings in more clients. Camille Freeman has been a practicing herbalist, nutritionist, and educator since 2003. In 2018, she left social media and began marketing her business primarily through a weekly newsletter. Since then, her business has grown each year. She’s mentored hundreds of other practitioners as they grow and build their businesses both with and without social media. Through her business Bloom and Grow Nutrition, Camille mentors practicing herbalists and nutritionists, and offers continuing education courses for clinicians. Camille holds a doctorate in clinical nutrition from MUIH (now part of Notre Dame of Maryland), as well as master’s degrees in both herbal medicine from MUIH and physiology from Georgetown University.

  • Why’d you pick your current avatar?

Is it the colour? The similarity to your real self? A representation of your favourite genre?

I’ll go first: I got drunk and decided to use the rice bowl avatar, because ”food for thought” was the greatest (and most amusing) thing I could come up with.
