English isn't my first language and when I started to fill my "finished"-list and my custom shelfs, I saw myself at a crossroads: should I add the English version/original version of the book or the translated one that I read? Translated works do differ from the source in a lot of ways (tone, wordflow, impact of some words - but that's a discussion for another time) but most of the time the original version has a bigger community and a lot more people writing reviews. I've decided for now, that I'm going to add the original version of a book (so if it was written in English, I'll add the English one, if it was originally in Spanish, the Spanish one and so on) - even though I didn't technically read that version. But I am curious, what do you do?

Very excited to announce that you can now download the app on Android!! Google Play approved us this afternoon :) we're still waiting on Apple and will make a big release announcement once both platforms are available.
If you're on Android, we'd love if you give us a download and leave a review. In typical non conformist PB fashion I do find it hilarious that we are available on Android before Apple; a karmic win for all our Android baddies.
Can't wait to see what everyone thinks of the app!!

Hi gang! I was wondering how everyone approaches quests and if there's a specific etiquette or intended use for quests.
I started adding a handful of quests and now I'm thinking I should cut down so I can focus on one at a time and engage with them more.
Initially, I was adding ones in genres I wanted to try, and then I was adding them based on books I'm planning on reading soon. I was also looking at ones which I already qualified for badges...this feels like it could get out of hand quickly haha.
Do you pursue quests more intentionally or add ones that you are likely to complete? Am I overthinking this?
I'd love to hear how everyone approaches quests or if you have any recommendations for new users!

How often do you wait after finishing one book to start another? Does it change depending on format and/or genre?

Well well well. What to say... I don't know. I was sad for a moment, then I think it got better...? I don't know, I feel like I missed something. It seems to be kind of an open ending, but also no ? I don't know, I'm lost as to who is/was/is going to be Athanasius Pernath. The rest is pretty clear but this person will remain a mystery. I guess it's the whole point ? I did like it though. Even more on the last few chapters, I could not let go of the book
