This is so achingly beautiful. Please read this. I am begging and pleading and besmirching you all to read this.
The prose feels so raw and honest, but so precisely crafted. Every sentence is considered and created to tell a wonderful story, not one word in here is surplus.
I am simply in awe.

Jumping on the bandwagon This was everything I wanted after watching the show. Cute, fluffy, emotional, sweet. I LOVED it
I'm not a romance reader at all so don't have a base for the genre to compare it too, and read it the day after binging the show so there's no real separation between the two in my mind right now. Which might be a bad thing but I did enjoy reading Ilya in Connor Storrie's accent.

I really enjoyed the first part of this, all the characters felt very real and distinct and fleshed out, and I was really interested in their perspectives and feelings. The second part for me really slowed the pace down and wasn't as engaging, it took a while to get through the last 40 pages for me.
The writing style isn't my favourite, but I didn't hate it and appreciate the distinctness and strong authorial voice.

Everyone should read this. Really tightly constructed story that tells so much with so few words.

I really enjoyed the style and the journey the story took us on. Really well paced, engaging, and melancholic.
