Getting some Harry Potter vibes from all the "first day of school" tours and introductions! And yes I know the movies were filmed at Oxford 🪄

This book is giving major Harry Potter vibes in the best way! I feel like I’m a first year getting a tour of Hogwarts by a Head Boy. The dark robes they have to wear makes it even more wizard-y.

Solid book! I'll be honest that I liked the first half better than the second. The second half felt a little redundant, the observations not as surprising or new. Very digestible book that helps explain issues of energy/ housing through the lense of politics and I typically have a hard time understanding politics!

AMAZING audiobook! So many voice actors which was really fun. A book that makes you want to start writing letters again. Nothing in the novel surprised me necessarily (it was somewhat predictable) but I did enjoy listening.

This book surprised me! It had a fair amount of good twists and turns. While the main character Lila was a little annoying at times, I could be convinced to read some more books in this series. I’d be curious to see how all the characters unfold and develop over time. I loved all the references to Filipino culture and Chicago! Felt like this book was written just for me.

Really fascinated how no other discernable religions seem to exist in this world anymore, except for space Mormons.
