i know this book is just one gruesome scene after the other, but damn it still somehow manages to make me feel shocked when another gross thing happens

and if i said i'm skipping all johnny parts, then what. an absolutely insufferable narrator.
i told myself i have to get to around page 100 and then i can dnf this because this is, i fear, hot garbage. it has been a loooong time since a book has been so uninspiring to me that i simply could not bring myself to pick it up for over two days.
