First time I came across this book it was in form of an audiobook and idk what happened but I've lost it at around 50% or more and now can't find it to finish it. So I was like, okay, let's just read it because I prefer reading over listening but,,, I feel like it was more interesting as an audiobook. That being said, I am feeling a little bit down these days so it might be just that I'm not in the right mood right now. We'll see. I do miss the voice of voice actor for Aiden character tho.

I mean. I expected more. It tried to do something but I feel like it just confused itself. I did enjoy the writing but for a book this short it sure felt like it was way longer. The world in this book was really interesting and the magic maybe a little bit confusing, which I didn't mind that much. Like I don't /need/ to understand everything to enjoy a book but. It could've been a bit better. It felt like a lost potential to me. Idk. Maybe it's a me problem.

When I started reading this book a had a feeling it will destroy me and unfortunately I was right. I literally had to stop some pages before the end because I was so emotionally overwhelmed and I couldn't see any letters because I was crying so hard.
It talks about greif and family and just life in general in such way that it's impossible to not love it. I enjoyed it as much as I hated it for making me feel things. Some parts of the plot I did get even before the revelation but once it was all out in the open — oh man. It's so human. So unbelievably human to experience all the things that have happened to these people and I will carry all of them in my heart for a while. I wish I know what happened to some characters and if they got their happy ending but that is the beauty of open endings. You can make them whatever you want.
I've loved the format in which it was written. I sometimes did get lost by all the names and letters and who's who but I got there in the end lol.
