10/10, no notes Alice you’ve done it again 👏🏼

This book was sooo good. I was genuinely scared at some points, it was a real page turner I felt like it was a super fast read for me.

The characters were super interesting and all had their own little things they were dealing with and it added to the main storyline so well.

The twists and turns were crazy, I had my suspicions about who had done it but they were definitely not my main suspect for all the chaos going on! I definitely can’t wait to get into the next.

This book honestly had me hooked! I really enjoyed the characters sometimes I hated them sometimes I loved them. They had pretty decent development throughout the book, I could have done without some of the storylines between certain characters, but overall this book was very intriguing.

The first half of the book, I hated Peter so much (can’t stand a cheating character) and then when he passed at the end of the book BEFORE the end of the world I almost lost my mind. He definitely did not deserve Eliza, but I also don’t think he deserved death.

Andy is the character I thought I would love but ended up hating surprisingly. He does the stereotypical “make a bet to sleep with the girl” and then goes on to say he is in love with her? Just doesn’t scream love to me, especially when he is talking about Anita and her voice and describing what literal love is. It just bothered me slightly that he also could never take accountability for the shit HE was doing.

Anita and Eliza were my girls throughout the whole thing, I was really shocked because sometimes male authors have tendencies to write women awfully, but Tommy honestly encapsulated what it felt like to be a teenager girl. The drama, the conflict, the self loathing he really hit the nail on the head for me personally and I loved both Anita and Eliza’s development throughout the story.
