The title says it all, I am in a reading slump and I need help to get out of it, desperately.
Life has not been the kindest at the moment, and that has seriously impacted my motivation to read consistently. I’ve started 3 different books and paused/DNF them because I just could not seem to get into the story at all. But I do want to read, I just can’t seem to really enjoy what I have been reading lately. So I want to know what the people of Pagebound do when they start slumping and don’t have the drive to read like normal. Literally any suggestions I will take, give me the weird, the unconventional, whatever it is that seems to get you back into the zone, I WANT TO KNOW!! 🫶🏼

I hate spoilers so much! The worst is when you do it yourself looking up info on a character or fanart for the book 😭
I hate accidentally spoiling stuff for myself in books. I just did that with the crul prince and now I'm mad at myself. How do you guys feel about them?

The Color Purple by Alice Walker is THE sapphic lit book in my opinion. I cried multiple times reading it though so be warned. 🫣
What are some your favorite sapphic books? I’m not necessarily looking for romance, but it’s okay if the book contains some romance. I also prefer books set in older time periods, as opposed to something super contemporary.

This is so tough! Since I primarily read physical copies, it's a toss up between the book light I've gotten and all of the bookmarks I've accumulated 🤭 where would I be without my beautiful place holders!?

for me it would be my book stand. i recently got it for when i want to read in bed without straining my arms or eyes too much. its been such a great purchase and now i can’t imagine reading without it!
