This is exquisite and my favorite comic/graphic novel by a long shot. It’s hard to describe all the feelings it gives, but it sure makes you feel things. I am in love with the art style, which is full of soft glows and intricacy whether you’re in the forest or inside a tavern. The slow-burn romance is indeed slow but aches in all the right ways, as you discover more about the main characters’ pasts throughout. It features fae royalty, scholarly endeavors, lots of camping, a subtle magic system centered on flowers and nature, and the most beautiful visual depiction of music I’ve seen.
