Hi everyone! We have some product updates to share: 1. We're launching the first Special Event readalong on June 1st with a Pride Month Readalong! You'll get a special Pride 2025 badge for reading 1 of the 5 books in the readalong and posting or commenting in the forum. There's a link to the selections on the Discuss page; all selected books were written by LGBTQ+ authors. We're excited to celebrate Pride and the community with this special event :) 2. You can now search in the forums! Shoutout to Devin for this feature. We recommend sticking to keywords rather than full sentences for search 3. You will now see a warning message when posting about a book you're currently reading without entering the progress % or page #. This info is required for forum sorting by progress; we allow and encourage title editing (ie adding a chapter or quip to the title) š + various bug fixes Happy reading, Jennifer + Lucy šš

What would it say about you? (e.g. āSheās emotionally unstable but organized,ā āThis one buys more than she reads,ā etc!) If *my* bookshelf could talk, itād say, āThis oneās a big softie for stories about time, grief, and second chances - preferably with magic or fantasy vibes. She also has a thing for complicated protagonists, found family, and angst. And no, she hasnāt emotionally recovered from books she read over a decade ago. Will she ever? Probably not. I think she just likes to torture herself."

Inspired by blush's post, would you rather not see the cover of the book or not see the blurb on the back? So either the cover or the back of the book will be blank.

I was thinking about it, like, I mostly read thrillers/horror books, and I always say that Iām not that into romances, but clearly Iām a sucker for a good romance every once in a while and recently Iāve been very in non-fiction. So whatās the genre you gravitate the most? For me I think it depends on my mood š¹ and you?

Be honest: is it the cover, the title, the author, the blurb, the vibes, or the hype?

For those of y'all with home libraries, what do you prefer to buy: paperback or hardcover format? Would love if you could also share why that's your preference (e.g., is it an aesthetic consideration or based on what you like to hold or something else)!
