Post from the Cozy Fantasy forum

I would love to see the Omensford Books added to the list. Bedstocks and Broomsticks (Book no.1) got me hooked on the whole cozy fantasy & crime series 🥰🪄 Or is the crime aspect not right for this list? (Just a misspelling edit)

What’s a book you didn’t enjoy… but still think about? What stayed with you? From tiny details that set you off, to deeper themes or scenes that put you off.... I want to know!
I read, what to me, was an overhyped book and I still think about how a "long sleeved vest" is just a jacket. And they used that descriptor so often. It infuriated me. Still does.

I picked this audiobook for my train rides for work. And now I am even listening to it while working 😂 the German narrator has a very nice voice and reads it so perfectly, it’s really fun! I wonder if it’s the same for the audiobooks in different languages 🤔 Also I love the story so far, it’s very well written. Excited to hear more!

I have to say I am a little bit intimidated by the family tree 😅 I am the type of person who has a look at it and then say ‘fuck it. I will be confused, but it’s fine’

What is everyone doing to support their local library? I’ll go first. I read a lot of ebooks and audiobooks. Last year one of the librarians I know shared that libraries get their funding in part by the circulation in each section of the library. That’s also partially how they decide how much funding each section of the library gets. This in turn affects whether they continue to stock books that interest you. When I go to the library, I will often borrow a few of the books that I read and liked the previous month so that that interest is flagged in the library system and so that it counts as circulation. A couple of notes:
