read it in march, and the only saving grace of this book was that it was short i hated every single character, the writing, the plot - everything about this novel would not recommend

devoured it in two sittings and immediately downloaded book two. this series has everything: complex characters, an interesting plot and, of course, r.f.kuang's brilliant writing 🖤
