Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.

If you have an e-reader, in what font do you prefer to read? I had a friend tell me that my font looks uncomfortable, but it actually helps me A LOT to focus... It's OpenDyslexic.
Am I dyslexic? Not that I know of, but this font works wonders for me.

Does anyone else get sad when they read the last few books by an author who has passed away. Knowing that no new books will ever be coming your way. Today I started reading No Sweet Sorrow by Denzil Meyrick. It is the 2nd to last DCI Daley book. I have putting off reading them for a wile knowing that the journey was coming to an end. I still have not read the last Discworld book. I tell myself I am saving for that day when I will really need one last spike of new joy from Terry Pratchett but I know that isnāt totally true. Just thinking about reading it is making me sad.

My personal sweet spot is 200-400 pages, though certainly I read and love books that don't fall in this range! But I think this is a good length to get engrossed in a book without it becoming too much of a time commitment.

One of my favorite things to do when I finish a book or a tv show is to make character and book/series playlists of songs that I think would fit!
I also love to listen to other peopleās playlists of books and tv shows so if you have any please share!
In the meantime, I would love to know if thereās a song you think is for your favorite character or book?
Iāll start! āHow Far Weāve Comeā by Matchbox Twenty will always belong to Heroes of Olympus in my head!

My goal now that Iāve gotten back into reading after a multiple-years slump is to start slowly making my way through those so-called āclassicā YA series that I either havenāt ever read or want to revisit. A few I have already on my list are Percy Jackson, Hunter Games, Narnia, Fablehaven, and Alex Rider.
I know there are probably so many Iām forgetting or donāt even have on my radar, so Iām open to any and all suggestions. Thanks in advance for the help. š
