Basically, I watched the fan made film of 'The Cruel Prince' a couple of days ago and it got me thinking that I should really reread the series soon because I did not remember half the events in the film... so I do. As I'm reading through, I start to realise how insane and crazy the characters are in the book; like I mean obviously they are hence the title... but still! Me at the age of 13 just didn't clock that they're all seriously deranged and frankly I'm just sat there rereading like wtf.
Anyways kind of a pointless rant but is there anyone else who realised that they must've had brain fog the first time whilst rereading a book?

How does one get back into reading after having 5-6 weeks of non-stop exams and revision? I'm trying to find a new series or even a standalone book that will get me to continue reading after the massive slump that exam stress has put me in... I want to be in a state of constant reading in the summer but I'm just extremely unmotivated. Anyone have any recs for getting out of a slump? I feel like I just need something quick and easy to read to get back into the rhythm of things, like a quick mystery novel or a silly fantasy book? Anyways, help!!
