Hey Everyone, as you might have seen most of the Quests are doing unofficial readalongs for during the winter read-along. Is there interest for this quest too? It’s open to any book in the quest though I do think one that takes place in winter is great. So please consult the last two posts which discuss what books take place in winter/Christmas time. Oh my goodness I forgot how much I missed Joyce and her journal entries!! I love her so much - I think that Richard Osman has done such a great job at both cosy crime and capturing the very small but real moments in everyday life ✨

Today’s been the best reading day in a while. I woke up, made myself a fancy little coffee, got a bunch of snacks, put on my blanket hoodie, put on some fireplace noises, and have been reading for HOURS!!! I am thrilled! There’s also another snow squall warning (I live in Canada and we’ve had 5 snow squalls this month already) so I am eating up my Christmas book bc all the winter vibes!!

My questions for u are what was ur best reading day? What made it the best? And what does ur ideal reading day look like?

Hi all! Since we’re getting close to the new year I thought it would be fun to talk about something we want to do more of.

For me - I want to go on reading picnics with my friends more. I’m always thinking about it but never following through and asking them to join me. I think it would be fun to bring treats (chips, scones, things like that) and just read next to each other.

quick curiosity do you guys select as "owned" both physical and ebooks? because I was organising my shelves but I noticed I don't really think of eBooks as something I actually own because I need to have it in my hands
