What adaptations do you think are the most faithful to the original? This could include movie, game, or comic (comics, manga, manhwa, manhua, etc.) adaptations of books/LN, or vice versa. Which adaptations do you think were even better than the original?
(Definitely not gonna use this as a recommendation list or anything 👀)

I noticed we can save posts but I can’t seem to find where our saved posts are located. Is my brain fog preventing me from seeing it? 🥸

are there any romance tropes that are an automatic dnf for you? could be controversial, but mine would be the "second chance" trope... it would need to be a very specific situation for me to be into it

Personally, I like physical books best, but in the last years I've been reading books on my phone or laptop more and more. I don't have, nor have I tried, a Kindle, so I don't know if the experience is better than on a phone or PC. I've tried listening to audiobooks, but I can't really get into them the same way and lose concentration easily. How do you prefer to read books?

I’m sure this might have been asked already 😅 but what was everyone’s first book that got them into reading? And how long have you been reading since then? Have you been a consistent reader or it’s a hobby you pick up from time to time? Also how do you feel your taste has grown or changed since your first couple of books? Can’t wait to read everyone’s firsts! 🤗
For me I read a bit in middle school, I got really into the Hunger Games when that was popping off but after that I dove more into drawing and stopped reading. Now that I’m an adult I’m trying to go back into hobbies that I enjoyed growing up (and be off of social media and doom scrolling less 😅) and so I both read and draw now. I started reading more consistently this year after reading Lady Susan and Swordheart. Those were my first two and I’m so excited to read more and to continue to dive into many new worlds!

So I think everybody had that one book - that everyone else loved and you just didn't get a hype.
For me it's Invisible life of Addie LaRue. I'm stuck in the middle. Don't get me wrong, it's beautifully written. And I like the author. The concept itself was interesting too. But I felt like which each time skip I was more tired of reading it. And I just wasn't invested either with story or characters.
So I'm curious - what are your book that everyone love and recommend but it didn't win you heart?

I need help deciding what to read next from my tbr. The list goes on and on and on and I don't know what I want my next vibe to be.

As an angel of chaos, I crave occasional violence with wit in my favorite subject that is books ✨
Everyone is sooo nice in PB and it is absolutely wonderful, it feels more genuine so of course it comes with less one star diamond reviews and thoughts popping up on my pages
Do I miss it? Am I the drama? For the record I only miss the funny ones, I don't condone hatefulness Just an observation Wish some great reads for you all🧁

I feel like I'm old school for preferring a good book summary as the selling point for me as a reader. It feels like book marketing now likes to rely primarily on a mishmash of tropes and pithy blurbs to grab a reader's attention. Clearly it is a method that works, as I see a lot of people respond positively to them on all sorts of social media platforms. But I wonder if there are still readers out there who, like me, prefer an enticing summary pitch that piques my interest to pick up the book? (... and add it to my insanely long TBR hoard.)

I’m currently reading a book that has reviews, but no forum interaction. I’ve already posted like 3 times. I think im starting to feel a little self conscious. At the same time, it’s fun and I like seeing my thoughts out in the ether. 😅 Does any one else feel weird when they are the only one posting? 😆
