Hello all!
Here is a map I drew of Hróth using elements of the books, as well an interviews done by the author describing the continent where this realm sits. I divided the the kingdom into 12 regions, filling in gaps left by the author with either in-universe names (Askrdal, Barrowmark, etc…), or considered interpretations (Hróthgeld, Vestgerd, etc …). On this map you can mind landmarks referenced or visited by characters from the book.
How did you imagine the upper half of this continent? I’d love to hear how you interpreted this place!

Hello! I want to create a list of books with named swords. I am a huge fan of when this is included in a story. An example is Quicksilver by Callie Hart which features Solace 🗡️ Nimerelle 🗡️ and Simon 🗡️. Or GoT’s Oathkeeper 🗡️ . All suggestions appreciated!!
Update: Yall are the best! This list is so badass.

Greetings! I got this app recommended by a dear friend of mine. I haven't even uploaded my goodreads stats yet. But I wanted to see if there are any Dune fans here?
Ps Anyone have any recommendations for books like the Dune series by Frank Herbert?

after devouring red rising, i couldn’t stop myself from diving into the second book. it literally went like this:
how can you stop? it’s SO GOOD. i had high expectations, and at first i thought that the book was going to be underwhelming (since the first few chapters felt like there was a lot of info dumping happening and not a lot of explaining) and then i was just sucked in! once i started reading and got into the thick of the story, i couldn’t stop. i kept telling myself “one more chapter and then i’ll go to sleep”, but my kindle was glued to my hands and i couldn’t tear my eyes away.
i have high expectations for this book too! hopefully darrow and cassius will make up :( i do miss their little duo.
the ending of red rising took me by surprise, i didn’t expect darrow to accept being the literal golden son of the arch governor (but it makes sense why he did).
SO GOOD !! 10/10, amazing.
