I will not accept any Chaol slander. I love my complicated and complex king.
Took me a while to start liking Rowan, really not until the end of the book 😭
I’m so excited for Manon’s development in the next book omg. I ALSO CAN’T WAIT FOR MORE OF AN EXCITING PLOT 🫥

I have a feeling that I’m going to DNF this book. I’m not supper into miscommunication/manipulation tropes where a character lies to make someone look bad. It gives me a similar vibe to Don’t Let Her Stay which I also DNF’d.

Does anyone have any books they absolutely DON’T want adapted? I always feel like a lot of adaptation discussion is about things people really want to see visually (which like same) but I’m wondering if anyone has any books they don’t want adapted. Either because it can’t be adapted in a way that would do it justice or just the way it’s played out in the book is too perfect to try for something in that medium. An example for me would be Piranesi.

Hii, I'm desperately looking for good fantasy books with no or very little romance. 🫡 It doesn't matter if it's ya or older characters, I'm just tired of romantasy rn. Idk if it's just me but I have the feeling that almost every new fantasy book is more romantasy/has a big romance plotline. Which is totally fine, but I miss fantasy without a focus on romance. 🤧

What cozy mystery series would you recommend? It's my favorite subgenre and while I love culinary and bookish series but am wondering if there are any good crafting or pet themed ones I should check out?

Ugh, I love my complicated and yearning Chaol but they really do be eating him up right now.

I was so excited to get this book from the library but I found it so hard to get into. The author really likes similes which I found kinda adds to the hilarious nature of the main character. I would love to listen to it as an audiobook one day maybe and finally finish it.

So far this is my least favourite of the series. I’m finding it a bit hard to really get into this book like I have with the others.
