My little millennial heart is so full after reading LeVar's words. I could literally hear the words being spoken in his voice in my head, it was just so HIM. I felt every emotion on the spectrum reading this book and loved peering a little bit into his life, which he has done an amazing and remarkable job of keeping private these past 40+ years in the business. All the things he experienced that we never saw are jaw dropping and inspiring. If you need a feel-good memoir by a non-problematic human, this is the one for you. I'll definitely be reading again.

The Lies We Play: A Why Choose Hockey Romance

This was cute! If you want cozy, slightly steamy open door romance based on The Princess Bride and Shrek then this book is for you. It was funny and I love a grumpy x sunshine trope. Aside from that it fell a little flat for me. The characters were a bit predictable and of course there's your typical fae-curse plotline. I would have liked more struggle between the MCs to make things work, the enemies-to-lovers just wasn't quite strong enough!
The narration was great, these narrators are famous for a reason! They are very good and the recording and editing quality was excellent.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and Harlequin audio for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
