    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:
This was worth it for hearing him describe his love for her at the end. And Jack was interesting. Raine was too, but there were things that were off. They were certainly compatible, and I like the idea of their "accomodations" but there were parts of this book that I just didn't like, you know, as a thing to listen to and read. (wonderful narrators, I liked!)

And I also felt a little like Jack was doing all the work?

I still think SGR is writing interesting things, and one of these days I Believe one will be a favorite. Just not yet.

3.25⭐️ — Kind of a middle of the road and pretty predictable romance for me. I’m trying to find contemporary romance (or romance in general) that I enjoy, but I am quite picky because I tend to read things with more plot and world-building. I also don’t often read much in modern-day settings. All that being said, this story was still fairly enjoyable. I appreciated the representations of ADHD and OCD, though I can’t speak to the accuracy of their portrayals as they are not part of my lived experience. It added a compelling layer to the romance in question and the MCs relationships with their respective families. I also didn’t realize this was the third book in an anthology series, but I didn’t feel like I missed anything by not having read the first two.

  • 🦇 DraculaDaily starts May 3rd

Who's participating in DraculaDaily this year?

If you don't know, DraculaDaily delivers Bram Stoker's epistolary novel straight to your inbox: you'll read the book on the same timeline as to when things happen to characters in the novel!

To be clear, I'm not associated with DraculaDaily in any way! This is my first time reading Dracula in full, and I'm really looking forward to reading it via this method. A post was made at the start of the year which had a bit of interest, so I think there are a few of us who were planning to join in. If it's something of interest to you, make sure you sign up for the mailing list HERE.

When does it start? May 3rd! On this date you'll be emailed the first section of the book. After that, you'll receive an email only on days when something occurs within the book's timeline. DraculaDaily ends on November 7th.

Is it free to sign-up? Yes!

Oops, I saw this post after May 3rd No worries! You can check out the archive on DraculaDaily to catch-up, and will receive the remaining emails after signing up.

    Read more FAQs HERE

Excited to read Dracula with y'all! 🦇

  • Anyone doing Dracula Daily this year or any of the other classic literature newsletters?

It happens every year, starting in May.

    https://draculadaily.com/

It's a Substack newsletter that sends the events of Dracula as they happen in real time. I'm signing up this year for my first time reading Dracula!

I also found one for Les Misérables, which sends a chapter a day for a year starting in January.

    https://lesmisletters.substack.com/about

They have a Discord server for discussion and they're partnered with BarricadesCon, an online fan-run Les Mis convention (which sounds interesting)

I also found Musketeersdaily, Woman in White Weekly, and Carmilla Quarterly, though I'm not 100% sure of their current status. I need to look into them more.

Apart from these kinds of Substack newsletters, there's also that Serial Reader app that maomi told us about a while ago. I still need to try that!
