the way this is written, omg it's like no detail of the character's perspectives is left out and I love it

From classic ghostly mansions to modern reimaginings of spooky house horror.

Hey Boundlings! I am starting to read more physical books and I'm just wondering where you get your bookmarks?
I prefer cardstock or other thin ones and really don't want to spend a ton on them because I want to use my money for actual books. How do we feel about magnetic ones? I have a single leather magnetic one (my only bookmark) and it's not my favorite because it's not really thin enough for my taste.
In the past, I have actually used business cards I acquired but I can't even find any around the house so I'm at a loss at the moment.

My hopes for this book were quickly squashed by the weirdness of the main character and then immediately revived by the depths he gets into. I could have easily DNFd this based on the immature humor and lack of relatability at first, but overall I think this is an objectively stellar story with really interesting characters, and emotion that even if it isnt approached very directly, can touch anybody just based on the urgency and humanity displayed. that aside, there's an amount of suspense and science-y talk which just so happened to be the perfect balance for me to hold onto. it's a mostly non-challenging book, and kinda cringe at times but I ended up finding it really endearing and impossible to put down for the last 100 pages.
