i just read something that said to improve reading speed, you have to learn to turn off the “voice” in your head that says every word and i’m INTRIGUED.

i find it incredibly interesting because i’ve never had a voice in my head that reads each word, all i have to do is see the word and i’ve read it. if i’m trying to read slowly, i have to make a concentrated effort to say each word in my head. i’ve also found that reading out loud is tricky for me because my eyes read faster than i can talk. i can’t figure out how to express this more eloquently so i hope it makes sense!

all that being said, do you guys find that you have a “voice” in your head when you read? do just your eyes read? am i the last person to find out about this? i’m so interested!!

I am really enjoying the pacing of this one a lot more than I did any of the previous books I've read in the series

Omg! Omg! Omg!!! Running kicking and screaming! The way I moved so fast to get Iron Flame was unreal! As good as it is I can’t believe that I haven’t ever gotten any major majors spoilers before actually reading it, just the usual Oh you’re going to LOVE Xaden. And honestly they’re the real ones. Letting me fall in love with the series all on my own.
