You should definitely do a little refresh specifically on The infernal Divices series! Cassandra went a little crazy starting this book, she introduces like 30 characters in like 2 caps and its hard to follow who is whoses son, who's the brother, sisters, cousins, etc... I was struggling and even made a character guide (I can share it with you if you want ♡). But apart from that, if you remember de basics of the Shadowhunters world, you're good to go as this series is only the secuel to TID.
