I can’t decide if I want to read this as soon as it comes out or wait to watch it on tv in like three years.

Okay we’re having this whole thing where Daunis isn’t comfortable with “I love you” because she needs to learn to trust, but she’s already saying she’s learning to with Jamie, and I just feel like he’s the worst person to learn this with and there’s no reason for any change to have taken place yet? Like you don’t even know his name? Or who he really is? There’s moments where she says she loves the idea of him/the guy he’s lying to be for the case, and even acknowledges that this version is idealized, so I got to a point where I thought this book would end with them parting ways for the better, but now it doesn’t make sense to do that with her trust issues. Idk what did other ppl think, or do I just need to keep reading and it addresses all of that?
