Stayed for the banter.
Left with emotional damage.
Camorr is one of the most vividly realized fantasy cities I've ever read, and Scott Lynch somehow made an elaborate con feel effortless. Not quite a new favorite for me, but absolutely a story I'm glad I experienced.
Also... a moment of silence for absent friends.
