Okay, my fellow Boundlings. Tell me what your reading vibe is going to be this week through music. I don’t care how. Genre, artist, making it yourself.
My vibe is going to be Jazz. Which I admit is a little bit of a cheap because it means I can be experimental or traditional or whatever the hell I want. Woke up this morning started listening to some jazz and started reading. Put me in a good mood. It helped that I stumbled across two new to me artist who I am really digging right now (Alexa Tarantino and Sarah Hanahan. This is great because today’s book is a new to me writer Bitter Wash Road by Garry Disher.
Have a great week. Wishing you great reads and joyful music.

I just had my BACC (Baccalaureate) exam this morning on my undergrad English thesis and I passed 🥹 I've been an emotional wreck for the past couple hours since I walked out of the exam room. Thank you to those who sent me comforting words in other Pagebound Club posts, they meant so much to me 🫶
Has anyone else here completed a thesis (undergrad or otherwise) within the English discipline? What was it about??
My thesis was titled Objects Against Erasure: Literary Materiality in Tommy Orange's There There and Oscar Hokeah's Calling for a Blanket Dance. I couldn't have selected a better pairing of books to write and speak about. Orange and Hokeah eternally hold a special place in my heart ❤️

I fucking loved this so much. It should be taken as the perfect example of how to built feelings and relations beetwen characters. It's the masterpiece of this trilogy.
