Not a judgement, but an observation—Delilah has had a drink in her hand in almost every single scene in this book. Is the dependence on alcohol something that's going to be addressed or is it something that's going to go unmentioned? 🤔

Beautiful prose, a little frenetic (but that's how college relationships feel tbh). Excellent narration. I found the boys very unlikable throughout the book, even in part 2. I'm glad our narrator had a chance for closure and found some measure of peace. She has a family that she loves and that supports her and calls her her real name, showing to me that they actually see her for who she is, not as a caricature.

Hiya! My mum and I are going away together for a few days and we were thinking it could be fun to listen to an audiobook together! We're looking for something that's around 9 or 10 hours long, that's fun and exciting! Neither of us are into horror or too graphic murder thrillers. Also, nothing against it for my normal reading, but I don't really want to be listening to something too spicy with my mum 😅... Any recommendations? Thanks!

I’ve never felt good about these boys, not even on that night Yash confessed. Men are trash and you can’t convince me otherwise. But I will finish this book because how this is rated almost 5 stars im so mad

Another book I picked up off a display in the library on a whim. It felt quite timely with the new Kansas laws targeting trans people to read a book addressing the challenges trans and nonbinary people face.
This book takes a serious subject matter and handles it with care. Moreover though, this book is full of joy and kindness, encouraging the reader to think beyond what society has deemed the norm and challenging them to step into themselves in whatever form that may take.
I really enjoyed the section of the book that broke down the different arguments that are made against gender nonconformity. I see arguments just like in the world and I am often caught in a logical fallacy argument. Seeing the arguments and counterpoints laid out with facts to back them up is a dream.
