I've been really liking the writing of the book, but I don't know if it's just me but I feel like it's a bit slow? Maybe it's more like a "slice of life" kind of book, at least where I'm at, not the type of book that has high stakes from the start, and I'm not saying it's bad, just a thought I had and I was wondering if anyone else felt the same

Such an experience, I'm glad I read this book knowing nothing about it, at first I was weirded out, but then at like 25% I couldn't put down the book because you start sensing that something is wrong, with The Other, with the House, and you feel tricked by The Other together with Piranesi. The ending was so interesting with the coexistence of Piranesi and Matthew in this new version of him, I wish we could have got a little more of the aftermath, also Raphael and Matthew visiting the House and appreciating its beauty together, so heartwarming. Also I found the way Piranesi talked to himself in his journal a bit unsettling, cause you can tell he's so curious, "innocent", and full of child-like wonder, but he's being tricked by The Other, so glad he had Raphael to understand him. Overall great book, definitely lingers even after the last page.
