You guys. I cried! Such a poignant look into a portion of queer history in the earliest days of the United States.
As great as this was, the art style was difficult for me. Itâs all black, white, and sepia tones and many of the characters have familial resemblances on purpose so it was hard to keep track of who was who at times. Also, almost the entire book is told in small squares so there was not much opportunity for an eye break.

Hello everyone!
What is one thing this week/month that you are proud of?
For me, I just finished a 600 page book which was really hard for me since I'm a short book enthusiast and really only read 200-300 page books :')
Tell me!! What's one thing you are proud of recently? Bookish or not

Where are my fellow rereaders at? đ
How often do you reread and whatâs your most reread book?
I sometimes find myself randomly missing certain characters or a fantasy world and that prompts me to pick the book (or even the entire series) back up. Honestly, I sometimes feel guilty for rereading cause I canât help but think I couldâve spent that time reading something new. I canât help myself tho! Thereâs just something so comforting about revisiting a favorite.
I reread some books or book series at least once a year. Not always the same ones tho

Im not even sure how to rate this oneâŚthe beginning was phenomenal and I couldnât put it down. Unfortunately the end dragged so much. I do not usually read science fiction/fantasy so I am not the person for this book. Overall it was good but just not my vibe. If you like alternate dimensions or any science fiction type novel you will enjoy this behemoth. The writing was immersive and it was a fun concept, this was just a me problem. Many people will love this book, especially if you liked the movie âI saw the TV glowâ
