This is my first time reading a retelling of a Greek myth and while I'm excited and intrigued, my first impression is that it's a little silly. I'm finding the first powers we're shown from these gods a bit hard to take seriously. Hopefully I'll get used to it cause I really want to like this book.

I've seen people complain about the multitude of side characters. But personally, I don't mind. All of the stories are written in a compelling matter and style, so it doesn't really catch you of guard or throw you off. I'm still intrigued!

Whether you love to hate or hate to love 'em, these literary bad girls are anything but well-behaved. *Disclaimer: we do not literally support the illegal and oft cruel behavior of these protagonists (usually); we support the authors bold enough to write them (always).
