Hello beautiful people!
Iâm sipping Ceylon tea with cardamom (loose tea) while reading and I was wondering if you have a favourite tea to accompany your reading!
This year I got into earl grey. Youâd otherwise never see me drink tea with milk in it (I grew up with herbal teas only). For some reason, the Pukka earl grey was my addiction and introduction (it has since disappeared off the shelves?!), because of its lavender notes. Iâll be making my own lavender syrup to add instead.
I have a tea journal where I scrapbook each tea I drink and review it. My family got me Twinnings earl grey in their desperate search for the Pukka one, as a replacement. I donât hate it as much as I thought i would!
Otherwise, more favourites have been the Ahmad black tea vanilla, kashmiri chai, jasmine green tea, Yorkshire tea bedtime (decaff, vanilla and nutmeg).
Let me know!! đ·

hello PB, I keep on noticing a lot of posts/comments/updates mentioning individuals upset with themselves for not being able to meet a goal related to reading in 2025.
so⊠to counter that: if you are reading this please comment one thing that you are proud of yourself for that occurred this past year. can be related to reading or not.
Iâll go first:
I am proud that I read a fantasy book (and to that chick in my ecology class⊠you were right, I was too quick to judge the genre!)
your turn đ

Hello! Does anyone have any recommendations for a fantasy novel/series known for strong character development? Iâm thinking something along the lines of The Name of the Wind, or Robin Hobbâs Realm of the Underlings. Iâm open to anything, really!

I use interested for books im curious about reading but dont have a lot of feeling for. But now ive got like 300 books between the two shelves. I need to cut them down as am overwhelmed. I have my own shelves like âexcited tbrâ etc. But any other tips?
Thank you!!!
EDIT: i mean like tips on how to decide if a book is truly one for the tbr? A la marie kondo âdoes it spark joyâ? Or âwould u wash or throw away this item if it got poo on itâ?

Iâve been meaning to read this book for a while, so when I saw it in the library I picked it up to read over Christmas. Funnily enough, I finished the Earthsea series before this. So the magical tellings at times were rather fitting. The story had me in a chokehold, itâs quiet moments were the loudest. Iâm going to sit with it for a few days.
