ultimate 2010s school bus dystopia
[BREAK GLASS IN CASE OF SOCIETAL COLLAPSE]
Dystopia-core library books you inhaled in middle school on the bus so you could talk about them during lunch period.
Or: books that had an entire generation of kids convinced they were going to develop powers and be thrown in a government camp

Im sure every read has a couple books that they think are 10/10,fantastic and absolutely perfect. But what makes the difference between these books and THE book?
Ill go first. My favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristos by Alexander Dumas. Now of course the story is great, writing is actually pretty simple and easy to follow. In that aspect I read plenty of books that have better prose or a more special storyline.
The thing that makes it my favorite is the emotions I felt while reading it.Maybe it was the best moment to read it,or the weather that week was perfect but everything about that reading experience was sublime I felt like I was watching a movie, the pages dissapeard.Actually I enjoyed it so much, that the day I was almost finished with I actually cried.
So thats my experience.I really want to hear what everbody has to say😊

Whether you love to hate or hate to love 'em, these literary bad girls are anything but well-behaved. *Disclaimer: we do not literally support the illegal and oft cruel behavior of these protagonists (usually); we support the authors bold enough to write them (always).

What is your preferred format to read books in? And why?
Personally, I prefer to read on my Kobo.
And I have conflicting feelings about paperback and hardcover, overall I think i prefer paperbacks but it varies.
When it comes to audiobooks, I usually listen to them when I want to read but have things to do and I enjoy listening to non-fiction books since I don’t get bored as easily which I often tend to do with non-fiction.
Looking forward to hear your thoughts! I hope you all have a lovely day and if anyone haven’t told you lately; I am proud of you, I believe in you and here’s a hug🫂
