Hello Pagebound community! 👋 Meredith here, your friendly neighborhood software engineer and emoji aficionado, helping Jennifer & Lucy build out the Pagebound website. I've been behind the scenes working through our backlog of new features and site improvements, but now I'm excited to share this week's updates with you 🤩 ➡️ You may have already noticed the biggest change we launched this week - an overhaul of our main navigation! 🗺️ We found that it was getting a little overwhelming to have so many items in our navbar, so we've kept Library, Discover, and Discuss there for easy access to your main actions and incorporated Lists, Clubs, and Quests into your profile instead. ➡️ Speaking of, check out the lovely new design of our profile pages! 🎨 We heard your feedback about wanting to more easily see what other users are up to on Pagebound, so we redesigned the profile pages to better do so. Head over to Discover > People and click on someone's profile to check it out! Note that you'll also find your own Lists, Clubs, and Quests on your profile page as well, so head there to manage your items. ➡️ We've also tweaked the design of the book pages to remove the confusion of the tabs and more easily see the juicy discussion. 📚 Now, to access the forum and reviews for a book, click "View all posts" or "View all reviews" in the previews of those sections, or click the shortcut at the top page under the star reviews. In addition to those main changes, we also added the ability to sort the books in your library via a dropdown on mobile and in showcase view on desktop (where you can also use list view to do even more robust sorting). Lastly, we were able to do a big book de-duplication to keep our database of books clean 🧹 Thanks to everyone who pointed it out when they spotted these 🕵️ That's it for now!
