This is the first time in so long that I have devoured a book I’d forgotten how great it feels. I got this book yesterday and have not put it down 😍

Wow ! Loved this book, it’s the first book in a while that I just could not put down and finished in two days !!
The writing style is easy to get into and the world builds up slowly and you really feel like you’re discovering the world along with Fitz 😍

In NZ 🇳🇿, books range from $30-$50 😢 Hardcovers cost even more (worst I’ve seen is $80 for a memoir) When I travelled overseas, I was overwhelmed by how cheap everything was!

What does rating characters mean to you? The extent of their complexity? How realistic? Their arc? Likeability?
What moves you to rate one or five stars? and where do you usually fall?

So I’ve discovered lately that I like science fiction and fantasy comedy books, The Princess Bride, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, (Good Omens also falls into the same genre but i didn’t rlly like it)
I’m now starting Colin Gets Promoted and Dooms the World, which I’m excited to read, but I’ve noticed all of these books are written by White male authors, and for some of them it really shows. ( That’s not necessarily saying I hate the books I listed, Hitchikers is one of my favorite, but when I say you can tell I mean that most only have one female main character, and I’d like some books that are less male-centric).
So I’m wondering if any of my fellow boundlings know any good sci-fi fantasy comedy books written by poc and/or non cis male authors!!
Thanks in advance! :)
Edit: idk if it will make a difference atp, but I forgot to say, nothing with smut/lots of spice please!!
