Kindle says I’m at 35%, but Goodreads isn’t adding up to that either so idk :/
I think I might have a new obsession. I’m really enjoying this novel and already put the next two on my wishlist. (I told myself to read a middle grade or YA, but I’m glad I didn’t listen and picked this up)

Okay. Let me give you a representation of myself after I finished this book.
Ali Hazelwood, I liked The Love Hypothesis. No, I loved it. I really did. So I had this idea that I would like this one too. But I was wrong. I was sooo wrong.
The things I liked about the book:
1) The development of the relationship between Liam and Mara was actually good. I mean when they started to show each other some respect like decent human beings. It was cute. The type of this-is-why-i-love-reading-romance-young-adult cute. But it was all I could get from it.
Now let me just blow off some steam please:
1) What kind of a person acts rude as hell to another person they don't know? I mean I know that there are a hell of a lot of people like that on earth but it was extremely annoying. There was literally no reason????
2) Well, this may be an unnecessary criticism but Liam as a character was not really realistic. What kind of a lawyer, again, works for a company they don't like just because their professor asks them to do it? That was really unreal to me.
3) Can someone give me a LOGICAL explanation of the ending PLEASE???? I thought, and prayed, it was a dream when Liam came on to Mara all of a sudden and started undressing her.
4) I mean who the hell would shove their d!@# into another person without talking about their thoughts and feelings at the first place? Is this how we build up a relationship with other people? Did I miss something?
I even regret having this book as my longest review.

I love the planning feature on here you guys! 2026 my goal is to read 12 non fiction books relating to the current political climate of the world right now. I’m using the planning feature to select one book per month that is my non fiction focus. I am using the library for this, with it being planned ahead I can request the book I have scheduled for the next month to keep the flow going!
