Taylor Jenkins Reid's writing is so easy to start and she keeps you trapped in the story the way no other literary fiction does it for me. she's so good and I'm already invested in this

This has been so easy and fun. Good old quest with Polynesian mythology and culture, and honestly, fresh characters. The chapters flow seamlessly, and it's not super gripping or exciting, but it gives you enough to keep reading. A mix of cozy and wary odds and great dynamics. I kinda loved it tbh

I love Rosamie. she's so good, even if she doesn't appear to be so. she's moody and she's outspoken (genuinely unafraid of saying what's on her mind at all times and I love that about her) and she's such a good friend she honestly might be my favorite here

I'm not gonna lie, I thought this dragged on and at the same time it went too fast. The girls didn't have the chemistry I thought they would, so I was kinda disappointed
