Depressing but real. Has all the evidence you need that black people asking for reparations now in our modern time are completely within their right to do so if not in their right to receieve them. I wonder how much it will matter soon when the housing bubble bursts. So many white familes are reliant on the wealth being a homeowner gives them. Its really opens your eyes to how much a specific (multitude) of bad actors really enforced segregation as law without repercussion. It also shows how fragile the white lower middle class is. I would hazard to say even racism itself is just a construct of the class war in America.

Very incomplete. All of the presented ideas are structured well and function. I would even say that the author does well to name specific causes and institutions that need to be criticized and restructured. I wish there was more depth or even a further reading list attached. It gets you pumped up and then doesn't really give you anywhere to go.

The book is depressing and the audio book is very monotonous. Informative!

They wrote them differently in the past. So much worldbuilding in so small a space and I liked it 😂 The style of these books aren't for everyone, but it vibes with me.
