I've always been so intimidated by the sheer volume and hype around LOTR and after some research on Goodreads and Reddit, starting from The Hobbit felt right since it's the prequel. Only 11 pages in and it's so cozy! I'd want to be a hobbit just for the tea and cakes🤌🏻

I'm curious what genre this exactly falls under. Is it fantasy or historical fiction or historical fantasy? Or all of them or something else?

I'm not someone who enjoys romance as a literary genre but MY GOODNESS I'm sat. Benedict is my favorite Bridgerton. And dare I say, I enjoyed this a lot more than Bridgerton #2. My head and heart are heavy, I'm almost done with this book and I don't want to move on.
