I want to get into poetry to enhance my understanding of the English language, as I am not a native speaker myself.
I am not well versed in this genre, at all, and am at a total loss here.
What would you guys recommend I read first from this quest? Or what are your top 5 favourite books/collections on this quest?
I would love to hear it!

Hey all, I’m looking for recs of books where a MC has a sick parent. I recently read “Say You’ll Remember Me” by Abby Jimenez and “Beach Read” by Emily Henry which coincidentally both have a FMC in their 20s with a sick parent which turned out to be very relatable and kinda therapeutic so curious if anybody has any recs!
